good watch Jan 23, 2010 I bought this watch for my nephew who is 10 yrs old. He liked it.

My kid thinks it cool Apr 24, 2009 My son thinks that this watch is really cool. But from a parnets perspective the watch is cheaply made. I expect it to last, if I'm lucky for one month. The velcro separated from the rubber band after only 3 days.

Great watch and durable. Feb 09, 2009 I told my son that after this, I was not buying him another watch. His time frame for breaking a watch is at the longest, two weeks, the shortest, one hour. This watch is durable and has lasted, so far, a grand whopping total of two months. For my son that is amazing. And it's still working great. The time is not speeding up, there's no water under the face, from the times he forgets to take it off in the shower. The front has not broken from being banged up against the counter, and it's not even scratched. Shoot, I should probably buy one of these for myself. I didn't even touch on the fact that I love Lego's and I think they are a wonderful toy. My son loves this watch. And heaven forbid that he might break it, if he does, I'll buy the same watch for him again.

Great first watch Jan 05, 2009 My kid loves this watch. It is both confortable for him to wear and helps him parctive his ability to tell time without digital numbers. overall it is well worth it.

I expected better Nov 25, 2008 It looks and feels significantly cheaper than what I actually paid for, almost 'McDonald's Happy Meal' cheap. Made in China, of course.
The dial face is quite small, about 5/8" and, due to the art, the small, dark-grey on off-white numbers are not exactly easy to read. The band is made of nylon and the Hordika faces appear to be plastic or rubber. The band's 'lock' is Velcro. The manual shows the watch could be accessorized with additional Lego elements.
The battery is included but the watch is not working while in the box because the knob used to adjust the time is held in the 'off' position by a small, barely visible piece of transparent plastic. There is no mention of it in the pamphlet that serves as manual but, once the plastic is removed and the knob is pushed down, the watch begins to operate.
I hope the kids are going to like these, because they like LEGOs (I have the Visorak on order for my other boy) but, for a watch, it's not an impressive unit, not even for the relatively low price it sells for.
